Makesworth Accountants Scholarship for
ACCA students in Nepal 2024
The scholarship fund is set up by Makesworth Accountants, our global approved employer. Makesworth Accountants are a Multi-award-winning accountancy, Tax, Audit & Business advisory firm of Chartered accountants based in Harrow and have a presence across various locations in the UK.
Who is the scholarship for?
- The scholarship is for a deserving registered ACCA student in Nepal.
What does the scholarship cover?
- The scholarship covers the exam fees (1 sitting per paper) for CBE exam session from March 2025 to Dec 2025 for Applied Knowledge and Applied Skill.
- Annual subscription fees for 2025.
- Every year a new student will be selected to be funded through the Makesworth Accountants Scholarship.
What is the selection process?
- Students must apply for the scholarship by submitting an “Essay for Scholarship.”
- The “Essay for Scholarship” must be submitted on a PDF format
- The essay must be a maximum of 1000 words and must cover the themes:
- Why did you choose to pursue ACCA?
- What are your aspirations after becoming an ACCA Member?
- The “Essay for Scholarship” must be submitted by email to: accascholarship@makesworth.co.uk
mentioning your full Name and ACCA ID. - The essay submission deadline is 30 October, 2024.

A huge congratulations to Ms. Nicky Sah for being selected as the deserving winner of the Makesworth ACCA Scholarship 2023. She was chosen as the winner due to her clear vision and commitment towards the ACCA profession and community at large which was in alignment with Makesworth's own values. With all the candidates being equally good, this was a difficult decision to make.

Scholarship Winner 2022
Congratulations to Prerna Thapa, our first-ever candidate, on being selected for the One Year Makesworth Scholarship 2022. We received more than 100 applications from highly talented and deserving candidates. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all of them and it was very difficult to select one among the top 5 interviewed candidates. We are happy for Miss Prerna to be the winner and hope this serves as inspiration and motivation to our future candidates. Makesworth will continue the journey of providing scholarships to deserving students every year as part of our commitment to giving back to the community and the accounting profession
