Incredibly proud moment to meet the brave citizens in one of the villages in Ukraine who have very high spirits and strong courage to face the atrocities but yet have very kind hearts for their friends.
I was immensely moved by such a warm welcome and to be receiving gifts from the children of the community. They wanted to appreciate the support provided by the Makesworth Foundation.
The commemoration of the dead in the war by the singing children wearing traditional Ukrainian dresses to remember their sacrifices brought a sense of belonging to them.
Our efforts in these communities will be increased to twice-a-month charitable events. We will continue our support to the number of families in the area.
